Welcome to the North Carolina Coastal Society for Human Resource Management (NCCSHRM) page. The NCCSHRM leadership team is pleased you are visiting the site. We hope you find the information contained within useful, informative, and engaging.
NCCSHRM seeks to provide a wide variety of professional development and networking opportunities for human resources professionals in Eastern North Carolina. Its membership consists of human resource professionals representing organizations in the Eastern part of the state.
We are also proud to represent a satelite chapter located in Beaufort County.

Our SHRM Affiliation
SHRM has more than 575 affiliate chapters both in the United States and abroad, which provide additional programming and networking opportunities in your local area. SHRM chapters are autonomous organizations, so it is not automatic that you will be a member of your local chapter when you join SHRM at the national level, and vice versa.
Our History
The North Carolina Coastal Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a local professional association composed of individuals sharing an interest in the practice of human resource management. Founded in May 1997, the Chapter received its charter membership from the National Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) on February 18, 1998.
